We were able to travel down to California with my Dad to watch Cara perform at nationals! It was a ton of fun and the girls did GREAT!! (its so crazy that it was Cara's last year competing though!!) We went down there and stayed in a hotel RIGHT on the BEACH and had an AMAZING view at nights!!!!!!!

We went to Six Flags the first day we got down there and that was so fun. There is ride called the X2.... Haven't heard of it? Please find out for yourself!!!!!! It is THE CRAZIEST RIDE i have ever ridden on!! So crazy that that was the first ride we went on and i didn't want to ride it again because it was so much pressure to my head!! But it was so fun! and every ride after that ride we walked right on! There really wasn't a line for any of the rides so that was nice!!

The Second day we went to Cara's competition and just hung out there! They did great! After they competed we went and ate dinner with the whole squad and then drove back to our hotel... RIGHT ON THE BEACH....

The third day we got up and drove to Vegas and spent the rest of the day there. We definitely beat Vegas if you ask Matt. We (well he because i am still under age...) decided to put a dollar in a slot machine and see what would happen. He got $1.40 so he cashed out.... Me feeling lucky said let try $4 more dollars.... After talking Matt into it he put in $4 more dollars and we made $20.00, so he cashed out!! We decided we would stop there because in Matt's terms "WE BEAT VEGAS".... my dad however, wasn't as lucky as we were! We stayed in the Stratosphere and it is a pretty nice hotel, so after we got lucky we decided to go to the top of the stratosphere and check it out!

The next morning we packed up and headed home! But it was such a fun vacation and so laid back! We didn't have a lot of plans going down there which was why it was so much fun because we just did what we wanted.

I also had the chance to take Cara's senior pictures... I am no photographer by any means, but i have had somewhat of an interest in thinking about taking it up.... I really want to take a few classes and maybe be a cheap photographer!! Here are a preview of some of them! It was a lot of fun to go around Utah County with her and take them! She is a beautiful girl and VERY photogenic!!
General Conference was just what i needed!! It always is though RIGHT? It talked so much of having hope in these hard times and staying postive and close to the spirit! And temples!! Matt and I are blessed to live so close to the temple where we try to go at least once a month!
Easter was pretty uneventful for us also. The Easter Bunny did come to our home and bring us some goodies and suprises (photoshop for me and the Planet Earth movies for Matt) but Matt was in meetings all day Sunday, until 5:00, so we just stayed at home in Orem for the weekend.
I have been experiencing this problem with my eyes lately. I thought it was alergys but when i began taking alergy medicine I decided to go see a doctor. He told me that i have imflamation in my corneas. He gave me anti-inflamatory drops and told me to wear my contacts least i can. So i have been supporting the bi-focals lately which sucks, but i want to have my eyes get better! Matt and I have discussed having me do Lasik and my doctor gave me information on a good doctor, so i will be going in next week for a consultation to see if my eyes can get better by Lasik! Im pretty excited for that consultation!!
My craft of which i talked about in the last post is coming along.... the reason why it is not done yet is because of vacation and staying busy with the wrapping up of school and stuff! But i will soon finish it and show you!
Marriage is wonderful, we just met our 8th month mark, time flies when you are having fun!! I hope all of you are doing well!!

yay for updates! i'm so glad you guys have been having fun! i can't wait to get married, so i can be cool like you guys hehe.. at least i'll have time to do cool things, instead of making wedding plans. i hope we can see you soon!

You are way good at taking pictures. I like them. I have missed reading your blog. I am glad that you have been doing well and having fun. Your sister is adorable...getting so big though! Hope all is well.
